Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six pieces of information—your gender, date of birth, current health status, tobacco use, the coverage amount you want, and how long the policy should last—are all the quote tool needs. We don't collect your name, address, or detailed medical history unless you decide to move forward with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The amounts shown are what each carrier will quote for the health level you told us. After you apply, the carrier's underwriting team reviews your information and may confirm the rate, offer a better rate, or propose a different rate based on what they learn. What appears on this website is not a promise of any price or an offer of coverage; the underwritten policy ultimately controls.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, and your application is built using the quote you picked. From there, the process moves to a secure application platform run by the carriers where you answer underwriting questions, can pause and come back later, and ultimately sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), manages the entire application on your behalf.
Will I need a medical exam?
Whether an exam is needed depends on the insurance company, how much coverage you want, and what you tell them about your health. Some carriers can make instant decisions for eligible applicants without an exam; others may want one. Each quote shows you whether the carrier requires an exam, might ask for one, or won't need one for your situation.
Is a longer term better?
A term should match the years when your household would suffer if your income disappeared: while carrying a mortgage, while children are growing up, or while paying a business or education loan. Longer terms mean higher monthly payments but lock in your rate for more years. The quote tool shows you 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options side by side so you can compare.
Does this site sell my information?
No. We don't collect your contact information in the quote tool, we don't sell or trade visitor information with anyone, and we don't use cookies or tracking pixels.
